Center for European Studies has been established with the aim of further understanding the potentials of European science and technology and facilitating the cooperation between Iran and European scientific institutions. In this regard, four research groups on “human security”, “new technologies”, “strategic studies”, and “water, energy and environment”, along with colleagues from industry and top universities of Iran and Europe are engaged in scientific, industrial and research activities. Holding webinars and training courses, providing consulting services, activities in research fields and European scholarships, establishing active and constructive relations between universities, organizations, centers and individuals in the field of European studies, networking and expansion of European associations, joint publications, providing cultural services for introducing different cultural, historical and social dimensions of Iran to Europe and vice versa, in addition to many activities are defined in the field of duties of CES.
