Overview and Responsibilities of the New Technologies Research Department

Today, with the expansion of the frontiers of science, a considerable amount of knowledge and information is being produced and disseminated in the context of international networks and communications. The undeniable position and interrelationship between the two categories of science and technology and international interactions in the development of the country has been a central idea for the formation of the Research Group for the Study of NewTechnologies at the Center for European Studies at Kharazmi University. This research group attempts to play a modest role in the promotion of advanced technologies both nationally and internationally through creating a scientific discourse in the field of new technologies by holding workshops, seminars, webinars, conferences, etc. as well as identifying and using joint research projects with international universities and conducting joint research ventures.
 
A brief description of the responsibilities of the New Technologies Research Department is:
  • Conducting applied research aimed at applied development of new technologies
  • Intellectual and research support for institutions in charge of new technologies
  • Cooperation in transferring technical knowledge and completing research studies
  • Identifying successful international models and experiences in the field of new technologies and attempting to localize them
  • Identifying and introducing international universities and institutions interested in joint research activities
  • Trying to join regional and international institutions of science and technology in line with the goals of the university
  • Effective participation in regional and international events in the field of new technologies
  • Holding scientific and industrial visits in the field of new technologies at the international level
  • Hosting and holding regional and international meetings and conferences in the field of new technologies
